Everywhere you look, search engine optimization specialists agree that "content is King", but who is
doing anything about it?
For awhile now, the mechanism best used to develop content has been the use of the article. Conventional
wisdom says, "Proceed through your keyword selection phase, rank order your keywords, and write
an article about each keyword." In many ways, this site is set up in that manner. The Navigation
terms on the left are all keywords, and each one has its own page dedicated to highlighting the virtues
of that keyword. This page is focused on the keywords "Content Generation" and the larger
phrase "Keyword
Rick Content Generation". We know that content generation is an important topic and a lot of people
are searching for ideas on generating content for their website. Below, we have a table that has a
bunch of other mechanisms for generating content. Below that, there are some follow up comments.

Some of those are easy enough to understand (and much harder to manage). Let me start with the obvious
ones. Blogs, Bulletin Boards, Forums, and Guestbooks are ways that other people can help you with content
generation. The basic idea is that you get a conversation started and other people can add content.
You can manage the content (control the flow of the conversation) to discuss the relevant
keywords in your
field. The downside is that they are very difficult to manage. Comment spam is time consuming (although
there are techniques for limiting it - with most of the techniques also slowing the growth of your
device).
Some of the others in that list are less obvious. The author info / Company info page is a place to
discuss your role in the industry (cleverly placing keywords in your synopsis). Having a section to
house your press releases is another (even if you don't actually release them to the press). Testimonials
can be powerful (and rewarding to both the testimonial giver and the site.
Essentially with the others, if you just use the context of the situation (like a Mail Page to Friend
Link) and wrap your content around this (like "Tell
a Friend about our Search Engine Optimization Program"),
you can carefully place relevant keywords, in appropriate context. Your links to the page should follow
the same techniques outlined in our Search Engine
